Design Work: Texas College

It was such a rewarding experience working with Texas College. I can see the reason for their growth is not only with a strong marketing campaign but more so the PEOPLE that make up the college. President, Dr. Dwight Fennell has an inspiring spirit and if you don't feel the energy on this campus... well maybe you just have lost all feeling!

Here are a few of the pieces of work that I offered them.

This was the inside of a direct mailer design for the campaign "Come Grow With Us".

This was the outside of the direct mailer.

More images to be uploaded SOON!

Design Work: Heath & Katie Campbell Wedding

This was option #1 which was chosen by the Bride & Groom. The ivory printed postcard was mounted on a chocolate brown card with 1/2 inch border.

This was option #2.

Front and back cover of their wedding program.

Inside of their wedding program.

I also created the wedding party list and printed it on a clear vellum and it was inserted in the programs as well.

It was such a wonderful experience doing this for Heath and Katie. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL and I was blessed to be a part of their perfect day!!

A New Approach

So today is the day for new awakenings. I think that at some point in our lives we dream a dream that we feel is SO much bigger than we are. I am here to tell you that my dream is NOT bigger than me... If I can dream it I can accomplish it.

This post is to create an awareness about ME. My assests, creativeness, my knack for doing the least expected. In everything I do I want to push myself to the limit... March to the beat of my own drum.

This is my latest resume that really sums up in a simple form what I have done and what more I want to accomplish.

If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them.

I am also going to be sharing the design work I have created over the past year so not only can I share it through this blog but also so I can keep a timeline of my creative career!!

Take care and God bless!!

Welcome

It has officially happened... I have created a blog!!! Whoooooo hoooooo!! Let's get excited y'all.

This was suggested to me by several people and I must say I do not know why I have been holding out. I am so excited to get to share my creative energy with family, friends, prospective clients and just maybe the occasional person that may happen to run across this by accident.

My first priority is to just express some of these crazy ideas that come into my head on a daily basis... It is a crazy world inside my head ;).

Soooooooooo... here goes nothing!!

My crazy thoughts for today are what ways to reach prospective employers... I know that in this day it is even MORE important to make a lasting impression. I personally am looking for a career in Marketing and the NEED to stand out is even more important because ultimately that is what a marketers job is!!!

Thoughts on getting noticed...

Maybe create a "designed" resume. By this I mean a postcard or a direct mailer of sorts selling non other than MYSELF!! My idea is to have a picture of myself split... One side very sophisticated and business orientated and the other side with my hair down and curly showing the creative energy that is inside of me... "Business Experience with Creative Edge".

THOUGHTS????

Have a blessed day and may you thank God daily for your blessings!!
